Supporting and Assisting Youth (SAY) is a free mobile app that connects homeless and street-involved youth with services and supports across Canada. It was designed by youth, through the CIHR funded project Voices against Violence at Western University, in partnership with Evas Initiatives. The app keeps young people informed about upcoming events and opportunities, allows them to easily access websites and important contacts, and serves as a storehouse for essential documents, including legal rights, city-based street survival guides, daily supports, and transitional assistance. This app is designed to help young people stay connected with social supports, seek assistance when needed, and transition out of homelessness. The SAY app allows young people to stay connected to supports instantly, anytime and anywhere.
